Class Description: How a caregiver bonds with an infant reflects on the person they will become later in life. The attachment between baby and caregiver impacts a child’s physical, social, and emotional health. This class explains the importance of bonding, types of attachments and techniques to bond with babies. Learn how to provide a foundation for infants to have the ability to interact, communicate, and form relationships throughout life.

Objectives:
As a result of this class, participants will be able to:
- identify the traits of a child that has developed a strong bond with a caregiver
- match characteristics of attachment types and milestones
- classify ways to enhance a positive bond between caregiver and baby
